How do customers buy items from this cooler?

Customers simply unlock the PicoCooler Vision™, select their items, and walk away.

They can unlock the cooler by tapping a credit or debit card, using a mobile wallet, or scanning the QR code via the 365Pay app. Once an item is taken out, multiple cameras powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) detect exactly what's been selected. After the doors close, the customer's account is automatically charged.

 

Do customers need to scan each product?

No, customers do not need to scan any items when using the PicoCooler Vision™.

 

How does the cooler know what’s been taken?

The PicoCooler Vision™ uses five integrated cameras and advanced AI technology to identify the items removed by the customer.

 

What kind of locations suit a PicoCooler Vision™?

If the final charge exceeds the pre-authorised amount, 365 will attempt an incremental authorisation for the difference. Incremental authorisation approvals depend on the customer's card issuer and payment type.

 

When does the Pre-Auth clear from the customer's account?

The removal of the pre-auth depends on the customer's bank, typically clearing shortly after the final charge is processed.

 

When does the final charge appear on the customer's statement?

The final charge is processed immediately after transaction completion. However, visibility depends on the bank’s processing time.
